Job summary

Oracle US is seeking a cost-focused professional to lead budgeting, cost estimation, and risk management for data center construction and infrastructure projects in Abilene, TX. You will oversee budgets, monitor expenditures, and guide procurement and change orders to keep projects on track.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams and senior leadership is essential as you implement robust cost-control, reporting processes and value engineering initiatives to optimize spend while ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction project management, focused on data center/colocation infrastructure.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale data center projects as lead or individual contributor.
• Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to work independently under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Review and maintain project budgets and cost forecasts throughout the lifecycle.
• Monitor and report on expenditures, cash flow, and financial performance against budgets.
• Lead contract administration activities including procurement, change orders, and claims.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to prevent cost overruns and delays.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, contractors, and stakeholders to align financial goals with delivery.
• Implement and maintain best practices for cost management, control and reporting processes.
• Prepare and present regular cost and financial reports to senior management.
• Support value engineering to optimize costs while maintaining quality.
