Job summary

Oracle seeks a Senior Data Center Fiber Deployment Lead to oversee data center construction projects by colocation providers. You will ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with top quality, managing documentation, risk, and vendor relationships.

You will lead startup and commissioning phases and supervise power, cooling, networking, and cabling installations. You will work on-site at Oracle’s Data Center in Abilene, Texas, with relocation packages available.

Qualifications

11 years of experience in construction project management in lieu of a degree.
Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering or a related field, and 7 years of experience in construction project management.
Master's degree in construction management engineering or related field, and 3 years of experience in construction project management and Doctorate in Construction Management, Engineering or related field AND
2 years of experience working with operating budgets and/or project financials

Responsibilities

Leads the construction of data centers by colocation providers, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Develops and maintains detailed project schedules, coordinating with colocation providers to ensure timely milestone delivery across multiple projects.
Creates and manages project budgets, optimizing resource allocation to ensure cost-effective project execution.
Creates, reviews, and maintains documentation, including design review, commissioning, and problem-solving papers, ensuring standards are upheld.
