Job summary

Oracle is seeking a senior cost control and project controls professional for data center construction and infrastructure initiatives in Abilene, TX. You will develop budgets, oversee cost estimation, and drive cost control, avoidance and reporting strategies across complex projects.

You will lead procurement, change orders, and claims management while collaborating with engineers, architects and project managers to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery and alignment with strategic financial

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction project management with focus on data center or colocation infrastructure.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale data center construction projects as contributor or lead.

Responsibilities

• Review and maintain project budgets and cost forecasts.
• Monitor and report on project expenditures, cash flow, and financial performance.
• Lead contract administration activities including procurement, change orders, and claims management.
• Identify and mitigate risks to avoid overruns and delays.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and contractors to align financial goals.
• Maintain best practices for cost management, control, and reporting processes.
• Prepare and present cost and financial reports to senior management.
• Support value engineering to optimize costs while maintaining quality.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
