Job summary
Jabil in the United States is seeking an experienced HVAC System Architect to lead front-end design for data-center cooling platforms, including chillers and CDUs, across global regions. You will collaborate with business units, sales, and manufacturing to define architectures, set technical direction, deliver handoff packages, and ensure safety, energy efficiency, and reliability.
The role requires 10+ years in thermal management, strong English communication, and willingness to travel
Qualifications
- 10+ years in thermal management product design (industrial/commercial).
- 5+ years in systems architecture or platform leadership with front-end ownership.
- Experience with data-center cooling, chillers, CDUs preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead system-level architecture and trade-offs for HVAC and liquid-cooling platforms.
- Define control architecture and BMS/DCIM integration strategies.
- Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders on technical direction.
- Provide DFMEA/PFMEA inputs and participate in design reviews.
- Ensure performance, safety, reliability and manufacturability targets.
