Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee data center construction projects. The role includes startup, commissioning, and field modifications of air- and water-cooled chillers, coordinating with engineering, field service, and contractors.

The position covers the West South-Central USA region with extensive travel; travel up to 60% is expected. Strong stakeholder communication and HVAC systems knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of project management experience coordinating schedules and stakeholders; OR 4+ years of experience supporting mechanical, electrical, controls, commissioning, construction, or field service projects.
• 2+ years reading and interpreting blueprints and technical mechanical systems documents.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 60% of the time within the USA as required by business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead startup, commissioning, and field modification processes for Carrier air- and water-cooled chillers in newly constructed data centers.
• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, ensuring schedules and budgets are met.
• Track and review KPIs to monitor project success.
• Conduct progress meetings with stakeholders, addressing design, material delivery, and labor schedules.
• Ensure all projects meet or exceed booked profit margin goals.
