Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Controls Technician to service and construct Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS) in AWS data centers. You will deploy, calibrate, and maintain BMS/EPMS hardware, mentor Facilities teams, and manage system diagnostics.

You’ll read schematics, supervise low voltage work, and contribute to safety compliance. The role involves after-hours on-call rotation, cross-site collaboration, and root-cause analysis during

Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional work experience related to controls or computer systems.
• Technical School diploma or Associate degree in a related field.
• Experience with low/medium voltage electrical/ mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, service, and upgrade BMS and EPMS in multiple data centers.
• Mentor Facilities team on BMS/EPMS operation and controls.
• Perform point-to-point checkouts between field devices and controllers.
• Commissioning and systems level testing support.
• Work on-call and rotating schedules; perform root cause analysis.
