Job summary

Flux Resources is hiring a Commissioning Engineer for Data Center Controls in Austin, TX. This full-time role involves leading commissioning, startup, and testing activities for SCADA, BMS, and EPMS systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in industrial automation and controls systems in high-performance data centers.

A bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field along with 5+ years of relevant experience is preferred. Compensation ranges from $96.15/hr to $120.19/hr depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in controls commissioning, industrial automation, or mission‑critical/data center MEP systems.
• Strong knowledge of SCADA, BMS, EPMS, PLCs, and industrial controls integration.
• Experience troubleshooting PLC/HMI programming and control logic.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning and startup activities for SCADA, BMS, and EPMS systems.
• Oversee functional testing, system validation, and turnover processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve controls‑related issues during startup phases.
