Job summary

IAPMO Group is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager for mission-critical data center renovations and upgrades in Sterling, VA. You will lead field operations, coordinate with internal teams and subcontractors, and ensure safety and quality across electrical, mechanical, and structural scopes.

The role requires 3-5+ years in live data center environments, ability to run crews on live sites, and a solid understanding of trades. OSHA 30 certification preferred and on-site work.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years in mission-critical and Data Center construction field management.
• Experience managing crews in live data center environments.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety and quality practices.
• Understanding of electrical, mechanical, structural, architectural trades and industrial construction methods.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support internal and subcontractor teams on mission-critical renovation and upgrade projects across electrical, mechanical, structural, and architectural scopes.
• Coordinate site access and badging requests for active data center sites.
• Identify process bottlenecks and propose solutions to improve efficiency and safety.

• Coordinate site access and badging requests
• Identify process bottlenecks and make recommendations for improvement

Requirements and Experience

• 3-5 years or more of mission-critical and Data Center construction field management experience. Experience working in live data centers required.
• Experience running crews in live data center environments required.
• Thorough experience with construction, safety, and quality best practices
• Understanding of electrical, mechanical, structural, architectural trades and industrial construction methods.
• OSHA30 Certificate
