Job summary

E Tech Group is seeking a Construction Supervisor near Frederick, MD, to plan, coordinate, and execute data center construction activities. You will support schedules, budgets, and safety while leading on-site teams of 1–5 personnel in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years’ experience in mission-critical facilities, strong knowledge of low voltage systems and building automation, and a solid grasp of electrical/IT infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of experience managing construction projects, preferably within mission-critical environments (e.g., data centers, healthcare, pharma).
• Strong background in low voltage systems, controls, and automation technologies.
• Deep understanding of electrical, mechanical, and IT infrastructure in large-scale facilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple trades and large teams on-site.
• Working knowledge of commissioning processes and integration of automation systems.
• Familiarity with applicable building codes, industry standards (e.g., TIA/EIA, NFPA), and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• PMP or other construction/project management certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the commercial, financial, and technical success of projects within the Business Unit.
• Meet project schedule, profitability, and customer requirements in a system integration environment.
• Lead project teams of 1-5 technical associates on small project efforts.
• Provide input to clients for activity planning and technical solutions.
• Mentor and train others in construction management skill sets.
• Identify client goals and match resources, products, and solutions to QA/QC requirements.
