Job summary

IPS - Integrated Project Services, LLC is seeking a Commissioning Project Manager to lead end-to-end commissioning for mission-critical data center projects, coordinating with design teams, contractors, and operations to ensure systems are designed, installed, tested, and operated per standards.

Candidates should have a bachelor's in engineering and 8+ years in commissioning or project management in data centers; certifications such as CCP, LEED, or PMP are preferred; willing to travel up to 75%

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
8+ years in commissioning, construction, or project management in data centers.
Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure (UPS, generators, chillers, CRAC/CRAH, switchgear).

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end commissioning activities for data center projects from planning to closeout.
Develop and manage commissioning plans, scripts, and procedures for critical systems.
Coordinate with design teams, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders for integration.
Oversee FAT, SAT, and IST activities.
Manage timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time delivery.
Identify, track, and resolve commissioning issues and risks.
Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, NFPA, and Uptime Institute guidelines.
Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings.
Prepare detailed reports and turnover documents for operations.
Support client training and handover processes.
