Job summary

FST Technical Services’ Commissioning (Cx) Division is seeking a Commissioning Project Engineer for data center projects. You will deliver commissioning services for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and work with project teams to ensure design intent and performance tests are met.

The ideal candidate has data center experience or a strong commissioning background, with willingness to travel and potential relocation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in HVACR/ME/EE or related field.
• 5+ years in maintenance/construction/engineering controls and/or 1+ year in the CX industry.
• 3+ years interconnecting building equipment including pumps, fans, boilers, BAS, electrical distribution, and fire alarm systems.
• Knowledge of construction drawings, specs, bid process, and related documents.

Responsibilities

• Complete office assignments, time/expense management, in-field installation validation, field observation reports, and performance testing.
• Lead CX meetings, assist the construction team with technical issues, and maintain client relations on projects.
• Support the team leader with staffing coordination, training, field procedures, and safety programs.
