Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking a Commissioning Project Manager for Data Centers in Elk Grove Village, IL, to lead a team of commissioning engineers and project managers on a wide range of data center CxA projects. You will manage budgets, schedules, and client expectations while enforcing CXA standards.

The ideal candidate has 5–10+ years in electrical/mechanical commissioning, data center experience, and strong communication skills; willingness to travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• Hands on experience managing Data Centers / Critical Facilities Projects with an A/E, MEP or CxA company.
• 5 to 10+ years of experience in Electrical/Mechanical Commissioning.
• Experience with Level 1-5 commissioning and client interfacing.
• Ability to lead design reviews, generate proposals, and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple CxA Projects in the region as a Program Manager with a full team.
• Oversee all phases of project management / delivery: design, QC, staffing, budget.
• Interface with clients, contractors, vendors and owners; manage expectations.
• Ensure CXA standards, SOPs, MOPs, and comprehensive commissioning documentation.
• Provide field troubleshooting and lead reporting, forecasts and cost tracking.
