Job summary

Gilbane Building seeks a Commissioning Manager to oversee the entire commissioning process for data center systems. You will ensure that systems function correctly before the facility goes live, manage all stages from planning to final testing, and lead a team on-site with occasional travel for meetings.

The ideal candidate has 10-12 years of experience in data center commissioning and excellent communication skills. The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $130,000 to $205,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• 10-12 years of data center commissioning experience.
• Previous hyperscale field construction on data centers is required.
• Ability to identify and resolve issues promptly and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manages all stages of commissioning process, from initial planning to final testing.
• Creates commissioning plans, schedules, test procedures, and verification checklists.
• Acts as the main point of contact and manages communication between various teams.

Skills

In-depth knowledge of data center systems

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Ability to manage schedules and multidisciplinary teams

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
