Job summary

FST Technical Services in the United States seeks a Project Manager - Data Center Operations (Cx) who thrives in fast-paced environments and takes ownership of complex outcomes. Role involves leading commission delivery for hyperscale data centers across multiple sites, with travel and relocation as needed.

You will oversee testing, validation, and client relationships, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery while mentoring engineers and guiding teams through full L1-L5 commissioning lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in commissioning, engineering, or mission-critical construction.
• Proven experience delivering data center projects.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning delivery from pre-construction through final validation.
• Oversee functional testing, system validation, and issue resolution.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and at the highest quality standards.
• Identify system risks, scope gaps, and performance issues early.
• Partner with field teams to drive real-time problem solving.
• Interpret contract documents to reduce risk and maximize value.
• Manage project profitability, utilization, and forecasting.
• Review invoicing and support financial reporting processes.
• Lead, mentor, and develop commissioning engineers.
• Support staffing, hiring, and team scalability.
• Build accountability and consistency across project execution.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients.
• Strengthen relationships and support repeat business.
• Contribute to project pursuits, pricing, and growth strategy.
• Drive process improvements and operational efficiency.
