Qualifications

• BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology preferred; hands-on controls experience welcomed.
• Comfortable using a multimeter and basic measurement tools.
• Exposure to major PLC platforms (Schneider, Rockwell, Siemens) is a plus.
• Field work 8+ hours daily on an active construction site; 45-hour weeks (Mon-Fri).
• Coachable and eager to learn with training provided.

Responsibilities

• Commission and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical control systems (HVAC, chillers, fans, power distribution).
• I/O troubleshooting on hardwired points and network communications (Modbus/BACnet).
• Interpret sketches, diagrams and control schematics; assist with graphics integration.
• Make basic PLC edits under lead engineer supervision (Schneider, Rockwell, Siemens).
• Document issues clearly and work within a small field team.
