Job summary

Peter Kazella and Associates, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Commissioning Agent for data center projects in Oklahoma City and the Midwest.

The role focuses on leading commissioning activities for electrical and mechanical systems, coordinating with engineering and construction teams, and ensuring quality across Level 1‑5 commissioning processes. The successful candidate will have 4–10+ years in electrical power systems, experience with data centers, and relevant certifications; travel is

Qualifications

4-10+ years experience with Electrical Power Systems.
Bachelor’s / Associates Degree as an Electrical Engineer or relevant experience.
P.E or EIT a plus.
Experience commissioning enterprise data centers, colos, and hyperscale companies.
Data Center Project experience on projects 5 MW or larger a plus.
3-5 years of Quality Assurance / Quality Controls, Commissioning, MEP Coordination, or other relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Travel to various data center sites throughout the Midwest.
Perform level 1‑3 commissioning procedures for the data center project ensuring all commissioning is performed per established practices.
Oversee 3rd Party CxA firms for commissioning work above L3.
Interface with clients, contractors, equipment vendors and owners agents as needed.
Develop and administer functional tests for various systems (electrical, UPS, generators).
Prepare commissioning test procedures, reports, and logs.
