Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Solutions Engineer who will collaborate with account teams to assess customer data center environments and design tailored infrastructure solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess strong interoperability with various mainstream technologies and will be responsible for training sales teams, managing solutions, and identifying new technology opportunities. Competitive compensation between $175,000 - $225,000 is offered.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Advanced certification in one or more mainstream technologies preferred.
• Ability to travel to SHI, partner, and customer events.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with account teams to evaluate customer data center environments.
• Design tailored infrastructure solutions that align with business objectives.
• Build and maintain technical relationships with OEMs and partners.
• Provide product training and technical education to teams and customers.
• Identify technology opportunities within various spaces.

Skills

Experience working in complex data center sales opportunities

Ability to design data center infrastructures

Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies

Ability to effectively communicate and sell complex technical products

Expertise in mainstream technologies (e.g., Dell, NetApp, HPE, etc.)

Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity solutions

Education

Completed bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
