Job summary

Ingalls Shipbuilding, a division of HII, seeks a Data Center Lead to govern all aspects of Infrastructure Service Providers delivering Data Center Services. You will drive governance for hybrid cloud operations, primarily across Azure with on-prem environments.

The role requires strong data center operations experience, cloud expertise (Azure/AWS), and proven management of third-party providers. Occasional telework is available, with national scope and travel as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree required in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cloud Engineering, or related field with 10 years of experience.
Master degree with 8 years of experience or PhD with 6 years of experience in IT/CS/Cloud fields.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations of the Infrastructure Service Provider for Data Center Services.
Govern data center operations and ensure alignment with security standards and architectural principles.
Manage cloud integrations between Azure and on-prem environments and monitor governance policies.
Lead investigations and resolve complex infrastructure issues across cloud and data center platforms.
Develop and enforce operational procedures, documentation, and governance frameworks.
