Job summary

Olsson seeks a summer 2027 civil engineering student intern to join the Data Centers Site Design team. You will assist with construction plans for sites including layout, grading, stormwater, and utilities using AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Travel to job sites may be required to support project delivery.

You will work with experienced engineers to gain hands-on experience, prepare technical reports, and support design for large-scale data center campuses across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD; Civil 3D is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assist with creating construction plans for sites including layout, grading, stormwater, and utilities.
• Perform research and write technical reports.
• Travel to job sites as needed.
• Support design efforts under supervision of senior engineers.
