HDR is seeking a Site Civil Engineer / Project Manager to support our Data Center Planning Practice within Building Engineering Services (BES). The successful candidate will lead and support the due diligence and campus planning for data center projects including land entitlements, development ordinances and processes, campus planning and layouts, and preliminary mass grading design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering and a PE license.
• 4+ years of site development and site civil design experience.
• Experience leading data center planning, due diligence and campus layouts.

Responsibilities

• Lead data center site planning projects following established processes.
• Analyze entitlements, zoning, and land development permitting.
• Lead campus planning, site layout and utility infrastructure planning.
• Guide initial mass grading and coordinate with the client.
• Build strong client relationships and mentor staff.
• Serve as project manager on data center planning projects.
• Travel regionally and nationally as needed.
