Job summary

Archetype Infrastructure Solutions is seeking a Cable Puller – Data Centers to install and route structured cabling for mission-critical data center environments. You will work with project managers, lead technicians, and installation teams to ensure copper and fiber cabling is installed safely and to standard.

The role supports new construction, expansions, upgrades, and maintenance of high-availability facilities, with travel to customer sites and flexible shifts as projects require.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in structured cabling or data centers preferred but not required.
• Basic understanding of copper and fiber cabling systems is helpful.
• Ability to read basic construction drawings and follow instructions.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools used in cabling work.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality installations.
• Ability to work independently or in a team in fast-paced projects.

Responsibilities

• Pull, route, and install copper, fiber optic, and low-voltage cabling in data centers.
• Assist with rack and stack installations, cable dressing, and labeling per plans.
• Install cable trays, J-hooks, ladder racks, and conduit as required.
• Read blueprints and installation drawings to guide work.
• Support testing, verification, and quality inspections of cabling.
• Maintain documentation of installed cabling and report progress to supervisors.
• Follow safety policies, OSHA rules, and site requirements.
• Travel to customer sites and work varied shifts, including nights/weekends as needed.
