Job summary

Archetype Infrastructure Solutions is seeking a Cable Puller – Data Centers to install and route structured cabling that supports critical data center infrastructure. You will work with project managers and installation teams to ensure copper and fiber cabling is installed safely and to standards.

The role involves reading drawings, preparing cables, and contributing to testing and quality inspections while maintaining tidy work areas and documenting progress for supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in structured cabling or data center environments preferred but not required.
• Ability to read basic construction drawings and follow written/verbal instructions.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Pull, route, and install copper, fiber optic, and low-voltage cabling in data center environments.
• Assist with rack and stack installations, cable dressing, termination prep, and cable management.
• Install cable trays, J-hooks, ladder racks, conduit, and other cable supports.
• Label, bundle, and organize cabling according to project docs and standards.
• Read blueprints, floor plans, cable schedules, and installation drawings.
• Assist with cable testing and quality inspections.
• Maintain documentation of installed cabling and report to supervisors.
• Safely operate hand/power tools and site equipment.
• Follow all safety policies, OSHA regulations, and site requirements.
• Travel to customer sites and support varying shifts as needed.
