Job summary

The Archetype Strategy is seeking a Division 28 Data Center Technician to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot low-voltage systems in mission-critical data center environments with a strong work ethic and safety focus.

Responsibilities include installing copper and fiber cabling, supporting Division 28 systems (cabling, access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, network infra), reading blueprints, performing tests, and ensuring

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in low-voltage or Division 28 installations preferred.
• Experience in data centers is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of copper and fiber optic cabling standards (TIA/EIA, BICSI).
• Experience with cable testing and certification equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, label, and test copper and fiber optic cabling in data center environments.
• Install and support Division 28 systems including: Structured cabling, Access control, CCTV, Intrusion detection, Network infrastructure.
• Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, rack elevations, and construction drawings.
• Perform cable testing and certification using industry-standard test equipment.
• Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and other trades to complete projects efficiently.
• Follow OSHA and site-specific safety requirements.
