TEKsystems is seeking a Data Center Cabling Technician to support live data center cabling and infrastructure projects in Levittown, PA. Open to experienced technicians and entry-level candidates with cabling or technical training backgrounds, this contract-to-hire role offers hands-on growth in a critical data-center environment.

The role involves pulling, routing and terminating Cat6A cabling, fiber patching, and working with racks, cabinets, and network gear.

Qualifications

• Experience with structured cabling, low voltage, or data center environments preferred.
• Understanding of Cat6A cabling, fiber optics, patch panels, and cable management.
• Ability to follow documentation and labeling standards.
• Comfortable working in an active data center environment.
• Ability to perform physical work, including moving equipment and cabinets when required.

Responsibilities

• Pull, route, and terminate Cat6A cabling.
• Perform fiber patching and trunking.
• Work with cross-connects, network cages, cabinets, switches, and MMR environments.
• Survey existing infrastructure and maintain accurate documentation.
• Patch, label, and organize cabling.
• Assist with rack‑and‑stack and other data center infrastructure work.
• Perform cable testing and basic troubleshooting.
• Support cabinet relocations and other physical infrastructure projects as needed.
