Align is seeking a Lead Data Center Cabling Technician to support large-scale cabling installations for AI and hyperscale data centers nationwide. This hybrid role combines field leadership with hands-on work, reporting to the Superintendent and guiding technicians, contractors, and vendors.

The position emphasizes strong technical skills, attention to detail, and adherence to project timelines and quality standards, with 75% travel and full benefits in a salaried role.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in structured cabling or fiber systems, data centers preferred.
• Experience leading small cabling crews (foreman/lead tech).
• Ability to read cabling drawings, rack elevations and labeling standards.

Responsibilities

• Support structured cabling installations in data center spaces.
• Perform on-site QA checks for terminations, labeling, routing and tests.
• Assist with standards, patch schedules and drawings to meet specs.
• Communicate progress, risks and material needs to leadership.
• Support documentation, RFIs, change orders and QA/QC actions.
