Job summary

Align seeks a Data Center Cabling Superintendent to lead large‑scale cabling installations across the U.S. You will oversee all aspects of low‑voltage cabling from planning to field execution, ensuring safety, correctness, and on‑time delivery.

You will manage field crews (50–100 technicians) and coordinate with vendors, traveling frequently to active project sites. This is a full‑time role with benefits, bonuses, paid travel, and advanced training.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in structured cabling, low‑voltage, or fiber optic systems; large data centers or mission‑critical environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and oversee installation of cabling and support systems in new data center white space.
• Set and maintain cabling standards (fiber and copper) for multiple projects.
• Build and manage cabling tracking sheets (pull patch schedules).
• Supervise subcontractors and internal crews to keep projects on schedule.
• Perform on-site quality checks—terminations, labeling, routing, test results.
• Monitor progress and communicate changes to leadership and clients.
• Manage documentation including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and invoicing.
• Enforce safety rules and lead toolbox talks with field teams.
• Report daily field progress and any schedule/budget issues.
