Job summary

Align is seeking a Data Center Cabling Superintendent to lead large cabling installations for AI and hyperscale data centers across the U.S. You will oversee low-voltage cabling planning, standards, and field execution, ensuring safety, accuracy, and on-time delivery.

You will manage field teams of 50–100 technicians, coordinate with vendors, and travel nationwide. This full-time salaried role offers $90,000–$125,000, full benefits, project bonuses, paid travel, and advanced training.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in structured cabling or fiber in large data centers.
• Experience managing field cabling crews.
• Ability to read cabling drawings and specs.
• Knowledge of labeling standards and cabling best practices.
• Strong Excel skills for data vetting and tracking.
• Excellent organization and communication in fast-paced environments.
• Willing to travel 75% to project sites.
• Hands-on troubleshooting with OLTS, OTDR, and VFL.

Responsibilities

• Review and oversee cabling and support systems in new data center spaces.
• Set and maintain cabling standards for multiple projects.
• Build and manage cabling tracking sheets.
• Supervise subcontractors and internal crews to stay on schedule.
• Perform on-site quality checks and verify test results.
• Monitor progress and communicate changes to leadership and clients.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and invoicing.
• Enforce safety rules and lead toolbox talks.
• Report daily field progress and schedule/budget impacts.
