Job summary

JLL in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Building Engineer for Data Centers to oversee electrical and mechanical infrastructure, monitor systems, and ensure 100% uptime. You will manage work orders, respond to incidents, and collaborate with vendors while following safety and compliance guidelines.

The role requires 2+ years in a data center and hands-on experience with UPS, generators, switchgear, and building systems. Location: On-site - Chandler, AZ.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience working in a data center/critical facility.
• Experience with building systems, including: UPS systems, emergency generators, and switchgears.
• Demonstrated verbal/written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Office, Google Suite and CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor, and perform preventive maintenance and continuous operation of all building systems to maintain 100% Up-time.
• Analyze operation, determine causes of problems, and take corrective action; comply with hazardous materials policies.
• Learn the data center site to manage incidents and events; handle work orders, CMMS, vendor management, and customer-facing tickets.
• Respond to site emergencies and perform additional duties as required.
