Job summary

Insight Global is seeking Data Center Deployment Technicians to support nationwide builds, from local deployment sites to active project locations. You will be part of a DC Team led by onsite Team Leads, handling rack-and-stack installs, server and networking hardware, and staging activities in live or new data centers.

The role requires 2+ years in a data-center or deployment setting, ability to travel up to 50% and start by 8:00 AM on Mondays.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on data center or deployment experience.
• Able to travel up to 50% and onsite by 8:00 AM Mondays.
• OSHA 10 Certification or ability to obtain within 3 weeks of assignment start.

Responsibilities

• Move and position cabinets within data halls and perform rack-and-stack installations of servers and networking equipment.
• Mount, label, orient, and secure hardware according to rack elevations and build standards.
• Support hardware receiving, staging, and deployment activities; assist with QA/QC documentation.
• Escalate blockers to site leadership to keep projects on schedule; participate in daily team huddles and follow deployment procedures.
