Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from planning to completion. You will manage schedules, budgets, contracts, and stakeholder relationships, ensuring safety, efficiency, and client satisfaction on-site in Lubbock, TX.

Responsibilities include guiding project execution, coordinating internal and external teams, handling financials, and maintaining comprehensive project documentation throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of project management experience (mid-level).
• Procore experience required.
• Data center construction or project management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from handoff to completion, establishing strategies and execution plans.
• Coordinate internal teams and external partners to maintain momentum.
• Manage budgets, schedules, contracts, and client communications to meet objectives.
• Oversee billing, cash flow, and financial reporting; monitor expenditures and profitability.
• Develop and maintain project schedules; work with field leadership to keep construction on track.
• Administer contracts and change orders; assess impacts of proposed changes.
• Maintain records, RFIs, submittals, and closeout materials; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Serve as liaison with ownership, consultants, architects, permitting agencies, and other stakeholders.
• Identify risks and mitigation plans; escalate critical issues; drive timely resolutions.
• Support turnover and closeout with final documentation and reconciliations.

The Project Manager oversees the successful planning, execution, and completion of commercial construction projects. This role is responsible for managing schedules, budgets, contracts, and stakeholder relationships while ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with client expectations and company standards.

Primary ResponsibilitiesProject ExecutionDirect projects from initial handoff through final completion.Establish project strategies, objectives, and execution plans.Coordinate internal teams and external partners to maintain project momentum.Ensure project goals related to budget, timeline, quality, and client satisfaction are achieved.Budget & Financial OversightPrepare and track project budgets, cash flow forecasts, and cost analyses.Monitor financial performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability.Manage billing processes, payment applications, and financial reporting requirements.Review project expenditures and implement corrective actions when necessary.Schedule ManagementDevelop and maintain project timelines and milestone schedules.Collaborate with field leadership to ensure construction activities stay on track.Assess schedule risks, delays, and change impacts, implementing recovery plans as needed.Communicate schedule updates to project stakeholders.Contracts & Change ControlAdminister project contracts, subcontracts, and related documentation.Evaluate proposed changes for financial and operational impacts before approval.Maintain accurate records supporting contractual obligations and project modifications.Ensure compliance with project agreements and company procedures.Client & Stakeholder RelationsAct as the primary liaison between ownership, consultants, and project teams.Foster strong client relationships through clear communication and proactive problem-solving.Coordinate with architects, engineers, permitting agencies, and other key partners throughout the project lifecycle.Address concerns and resolve issues to maintain project objectives and client confidence.Risk ManagementIdentify potential project challenges and develop mitigation strategies.Partner with field teams to resolve issues affecting productivity, quality, budget, or schedule.Escalate critical concerns and drive timely resolution to minimize project disruption.Promote proactive planning and decision-making across the project team.Documentation & Project CloseoutMaintain complete and organized project records, including RFIs, submittals, meeting documentation, warranties, and closeout materials.Lead turnover and closeout activities to ensure all contractual deliverables are completed.Verify financial reconciliation and final documentation requirements are satisfied.Support additional business and project initiatives as assigned.
