Job description

Job Summary

As a Data Business Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining reports on Tableau Server, including bug fixes, enhancing workbook performance, and gathering and implementing feedback for modifications.

Duties
  1. Manage efforts to fulfill client requests, including understanding needs and collaborating with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
  2. Create detailed technical documentation such as data mappings and process flows.
  3. Communicate efforts, timelines, risks, and impacts to clients and stakeholders.
  4. Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams to ensure project alignment.
  5. Participate in testing and data validation to meet business and technical standards.
  6. Assist in project planning and task prioritization for timely delivery.
  7. Support performance, quality, and process improvement through data analysis and visualization.
  8. Evaluate dashboard quality, usability, and reliability, applying best practices in design and development.
  9. Communicate with users and technical teams to gather requirements and explain data modeling and visualization strategies.
  10. Utilize SQL and/or Python for data analytics, ensuring privacy-preserving data handling.
  11. Assist with testing, governance, data quality, training, and documentation.
  12. Collaborate across departments and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  13. Demonstrate company core values and competencies.
Requirements
  1. 3-5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or Business Analyst, with knowledge of the healthcare industry and healthcare data.
  2. Minimum of 3 years' experience with SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
  3. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with experience in Jira and writing user stories.
  4. Bachelor's degree or 4 years of related experience; relevant certifications are a plus.
  5. Claim process experience is advantageous.
Compensation

The salary range is $90,000 - $105,000, considering education, experience, skills, location, and internal equity. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), and bonuses.
