Job summary

Farm Credit Mid-America is seeking a Data Business Analyst to transform business data into actionable information. You'll gather requirements, develop data solutions, and deliver trusted reporting to support decision-making across teams.

You will design data extracts, dashboards, and integrations, profile data for quality, and collaborate with architects and developers on migrations and system improvements. Hybrid work in Louisville, KY is offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 5 years relevant experience required.
• Bachelor’s Degree with 1 year relevant experience preferred.
• Experience supporting complex initiatives across multiple business areas, with both broad business understanding and in-depth analytical experience preferred.
• Experience in business analysis, data analysis, and Agile team delivery preferred.
• Experience with DevOps practices, Azure DevOps (ADO), and SQL; familiarity with Snowflake preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partners with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define data needs, and deliver reporting and analytical solutions that support business objectives and decision-making.
• Designs, develops, and maintains data extracts, integrations, operational reports, and dashboards that provide accurate, timely, and actionable information.
• Analyzes, profiles, and validates data to identify trends, anomalies, and quality issues while implementing controls that ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Collaborates with database architects and development teams to support data migrations, integrations, system enhancements, and resolution of complex data-related issues.
• Monitors and maintains operational data environments, identifying opportunities to improve data delivery processes, performance, and reliability.
• Creates and maintains data documentation, testing scenarios, and reporting processes that support knowledge sharing, system quality, and effective use of enterprise data assets.
• Completes routine assignments independently using established procedures and sound judgment.
• Applies working knowledge to resolve common issues and identifies when to seek guidance.
• Communicates clearly with teammates and internal partners to support coordinated work.
• Organizes workload to meet deadlines and deliver consistent, reliable outcomes.
• Contributes ideas that strengthen processes, accuracy, and effectiveness.
• Uses available tools and resources to resolve straightforward issues and improve confidence.
