Job summary

DSN is seeking a DATA BASE ADMINISTRATOR (DBA) for DB2 on Mainframe z/OS in Pittsburgh, PA. The role demands 4–10+ years of strong DB2 DBA skills with global 24/7 expertise and will implement, design and support DB2 database management structures.

The role also involves IBM replication (DB2), backup/recovery procedures and maintaining data integrity, with collaboration across development and operations teams. Hybrid work schedule 2–3 days per week; bonus opportunity; sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

• 4–10+ years of DB2 DBA on Mainframe (z/OS) with global 24/7 support experience.
• Implement, design and support DB2 database management structures.
• DB2 backup and recovery procedures and maintaining data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, implement and maintain DB2 database structures.
• Support database applications teams and ensure data integrity across systems.
• Coordinate with global teams to ensure 24/7 DB2 availability and performance.
