Job summary

Altarum is seeking a Business Technology Analyst to help improve how our organization uses data, automation, and artificial intelligence to work more effectively. You will partner with teams across Altarum to turn needs into practical reporting, workflow, and technology solutions.

This role focuses on building dashboards, automating processes, supporting SharePoint and Microsoft 365 solutions, and identifying high-value uses for AI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years in data analytics, BI, reporting, or related area.
• Experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Experience using Excel, SQL, Power Query, or similar data tools.
• Ability to analyze data, validate results, and communicate findings clearly.
• Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into reports/workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models.
• Use Excel, Power Query, SQL to prepare and analyze data.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate needs into reporting solutions.
• Validate results, document data sources, calculations, and logic.
• Support reporting from Deltek Costpoint, UKG, SQL Server, and SharePoint.
• Identify automation opportunities and streamline processes.
• Build low-code workflows with Power Automate; create AI-enabled tools.
• Assist with SharePoint and Microsoft 365 adoption and improvements.
