Underscore, a media and analytics company, is expanding its data engineering team in the United States. We are seeking a seasoned data architect to define and own the enterprise data architecture roadmap and drive scalable data platforms.

You will consolidate reporting platforms, build batch and streaming pipelines, and establish data quality, observability, and governance frameworks to ensure privacy and compliance across data products.

Qualifications

• 16+ years in data engineering or architecture.
• 5+ years leading technical teams.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud, BigQuery, SQL, Python, and pipeline orchestration tools.

Requirements:

• 16+ years in data engineering or architecture, including 5+ years leading technical teams.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud, BigQuery, SQL, Python, and pipeline orchestration tools.
• Experience with data security, privacy, and compliance, including HIPAA, GDPR, and SOC 2.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in media, advertising, or healthcare marketing.
• Familiarity with HCP data, data contracts, and multi-tenant delivery.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and data observability platforms.
