Job summary

Synechron, a global consulting firm, seeks a Data Architect with Oracle DBA and data modeling expertise to design scalable enterprise data solutions for financial services clients.

You will translate complex business requirements into conceptual, logical, and physical data models, guide DBAs, optimize performance for high‑volume systems, and support reporting, ETL, and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and processes
• Identify domains, entities, relationships and business rules
• Create scalable data models across conceptual, logical and physical layers
• Design OLTP schemas for high-volume transactions
• Design data models for reporting and analytics
• Define data architecture for Transactions, Fees, Expenses, Merchants, Settlement and Funding
• Plan ETL strategies and data integration
• Optimize databases for millions of records and throughput
• Support reporting, batch jobs and downstream consumers
• Provide DBA guidance for performance tuning and capacity planning
