Location: Remote, with occasional on-site time in the Denver, CO area
Type: Contract
Duration: Long-term contract through ERP go-live, with potential to extend
About The Opportunity
IntePros is partnering with a global manufacturing company that is midway through a multi-year transformation, including the implementation of Infor CloudSuite Industrial (LN) as its new ERP platform.
They are looking for a hands-on Data Architect to take ownership of the data workstream and drive it through go-live. You will lead a small team of data analysts, set the data strategy, and roll up your sleeves to cleanse, map, migrate and validate data. As a secondary focus, you will help the business get its data ready for enterprise AI.
What You’ll Do
Lead the data workstream
- Drive the data strategy for the Infor LN program and the broader business
- Lead, mentor and direct a team of data analysts
- Act as the data point of contact for the program lead, the implementation partner and business owners
- Establish data governance, ownership and quality standards that last beyond go-live
Own the ERP data migration
- Take ownership of the in-flight migration plan and close any gaps: source analysis, mapping, transformation rules, load sequencing and cutover
- Lead data cleansing and deduplication, including duplicate CRM accounts and contacts
- Run mock conversions and reconciliation ahead of each test cycle
- Support end-to-end testing, including periodic on-site sessions
- Get master data (customers, suppliers, items, BOMs, pricing) ready for go-live
- Track and report data quality and migration readiness to IT leadership
Prepare data for AI (secondary focus)
- Assess the data landscape for AI readiness and recommend a roadmap built on the new ERP data
- Partner with Security and Enterprise Architecture on standards for using company data in AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot
- Help business teams identify the data needed for priority AI use cases
What you bring
Required
- Hands-on Infor CloudSuite Industrial (LN / Baan) experience, including LN data structures and migration tools
- Data migration leadership on at least one full-cycle ERP implementation through go-live, ideally Infor LN
- 10+ years in data architecture, data management or data engineering
- Experience leading and directing data analysts, not only setting strategy
- Strong data cleansing, deduplication, master data management and reconciliation skills
- Experience with CRM data (e.g., Salesforce) and CRM-to-ERP integration
- Advanced SQL and ETL / data integration tools
- Ability to join a program already underway, get up to speed fast and communicate clearly at every level
Nice to have
- Experience with large-scale business transformations
- Manufacturing industry experience
- Experience in regulated environments
- Data governance frameworks and modern data platforms (cloud data warehouses, lakehouses)
- AI data readiness assessments, AI governance or responsible AI principles
- Exposure to Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio or Power Automate
Location
This role is primarily remote. Candidates local to the Denver, CO area are preferred for periodic on‑site testing and key program sessions. Candidates who can easily travel to Denver for those sessions will also be considered.
