Job summary

SimVentions, Inc is seeking a Database Architect to join our team at our Virginia Beach office. An ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required for this position.

You will work on data ecosystem expansion, enterprise pipelines, governance, and VAULTIS-aligned solutions to support Navy Reserve missions. You will analyze industry standards, automate data feeds, and build integrated data environments across legacy systems while collaborating with CNR/CNRF to improve warfighter readiness and data-driven

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years with Python, PySpark, GitLab, Databricks and/or Jupyter Notebook, Secure File Gateway (SFG), and Magic
• Minimum 2 years with JavaScript and SQL
• Minimum 2 years with Navy Reserve data systems and Advana/Jupyter
• At least 6 months managing or modifying Alchemy pipeline code

Responsibilities

• Support CNR and CNRF mission to advance warfighter readiness through data-driven decision making and data-enabled capabilities
• Maintain and expand authoritative data ecosystem for NR and enterprise data pipelines, architectures, observability, and governance to ensure VAULTIS principles
• Analyze, compile, and implement industry standards for an interoperable data ecosystem across legacy systems
• Automate data feeds from multiple systems into a consolidated data environment
• Perform capability gap analysis and identify vulnerabilities; recommend solutions
• Develop integration strategies to optimize interoperable data ecosystem across existing systems
