About the Role:

Hire Elevation Resources is seeking a highly skilled Data Architect with deep expertise in Epic Cogito and Snowflake to support enterprise-wide analytics initiatives for a leading healthcare organization. This role focuses on architecting scalable, governed data solutions that empower clinical, operational, and patient access reporting and analytics.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with hands-on experience integrating Epic Clarity data using Cogito tools, and designing robust data architectures in Snowflake. This position blends enterprise data modeling, data integration, pipeline optimization, and leadership in data architecture best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, design, and optimize data solutions using Epic Cogito tools and Snowflake, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory compliance.
• Lead the design of logical and physical data models across clinical, operational, and patient access domains.
• Guide integration of Epic Clarity data into enterprise analytics environments, driving standardization and semantic consistency.
• Develop reusable, modular transformation pipelines using dbt and Snowflake SQL.
• Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and clinical informatics teams to translate business needs into scalable data architecture.
• Establish data governance, documentation, lineage, and metadata standards across platforms.

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and enterprise data platforms.
• Deep hands-on experience with Epic Cogito, including tools such as Radar, Caboodle, and Clarity ETL.
• Proven ability to integrate and model Epic Clarity data across multiple modules (clinical, patient access, revenue cycle).
• Expertise in Snowflake architecture, performance optimization, and security.
• Strong experience with dbt, data transformation workflows, and pipeline orchestration.
• Strong understanding of healthcare data privacy standards (e.g., HIPAA).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in remote team environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Epic Cogito certification or project-based Epic certification.
• Experience with enterprise data warehouse design and migrations.
• Familiarity with modern data stack tools (e.g., Airflow, Fivetran, Matillion).
• Knowledge of BI/reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
