Responsibilities

• Familiarity with machine learning and data science concepts

Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's degree

Degree Focus: Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, or Engineering

Preferred Qualifications: Engineering and Computer Science backgrounds

Experience

• Minimum 5-7 years in data engineering or architecture roles
• Experience with SQL, data analysis, and programming (Python or Scala preferred)
• Experience developing data warehouses in big data solutions
• Experience with Azure services like ADF, ADLS, Blob, and Synapse
• Database development experience with Hadoop or BigQuery
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker
• Knowledge of data modeling, ETL, data governance, and warehousing
• Big Data development experience with Spark, Databricks, Impala, Kafka (preferred)
• Familiarity with Linux OS (preferred)
• Exposure to machine learning, data science, AI, statistics, or applied mathematics

Additional Skills: Effective communication within Agile teams, self-motivation, problem-solving, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills.
