Responsibilities
- Design and maintain optimal data architectural solutions
- Address complex data challenges to enhance business insights
- Develop advanced data products for analytics initiatives
- Mentor and lead in data standards, practices, and governance

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, MIS, or related field
- 5-7 years of relevant data engineering/architecture experience
- Proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and programming (Python/Scala)
- Experience with Azure ecosystem is preferred
- Knowledge of Linux OS
- Familiarity with machine learning and data science concepts

Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's degree
Degree Focus: Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, or Engineering
Preferred Qualifications: Engineering and Computer Science backgrounds
Experience
- Minimum 5-7 years in data engineering or architecture roles
- Experience with SQL, data analysis, and programming (Python or Scala preferred)
- Experience developing data warehouses in big data solutions
- Experience with Azure services like ADF, ADLS, Blob, and Synapse
- Database development experience with Hadoop or BigQuery
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker
- Knowledge of data modeling, ETL, data governance, and warehousing
- Big Data development experience with Spark, Databricks, Impala, Kafka (preferred)
- Familiarity with Linux OS (preferred)
- Exposure to machine learning, data science, AI, statistics, or applied mathematics
