Job summary

Skanska is seeking a Data Architect in the United States to translate business strategy into secure, scalable data solutions across diverse platforms. You will lead data architecture efforts, collaborating with data owners, cybersecurity, and analytics teams to ensure quality, privacy, and performance.

The role emphasizes standardization, data governance, and the trusted data foundation enabling analytics, self-service, automation, and AI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, data engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years in data architecture or related areas.
• Experience with SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Synapse or similar data integration platforms.
• Experience with APIs, orchestration and streaming patterns.

Responsibilities

• Translate business strategy and requirements into secure, scalable, governed data solutions.
• Partner with data owners, cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, and engineering teams to ensure quality, privacy, security, interoperability and performance.
• Provide architectural ownership across the solution lifecycle and establish a trusted data foundation for analytics and AI.
