Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Systems, the Data Architectand Team Lead serves as the university’s senior technical authorityfor enterprise data architecture, database platforms, and analyticsdata structures. The position defines and advances the campus dataplatform strategy in alignment with CSU systemwide initiatives,including Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, and the evolving CSU datalake environment.
This role provides hands-on technical leadership in the design anddelivery of scalable, secure, and governed data solutions;establishes architectural standards and integration patterns; andelevates the technical capabilities of the Data Administration andAnalytics team. The incumbent partners with campus and Chancellor’sOffice stakeholders to enable trusted data for analytics,operations, compliance, and institutional decision-making and playsa foundational role in the development of the university’s datagovernance framework.

This is a full-time, exempt position, which will lead towardpermanent status following the successful completion of aprobationary period.

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $10,438 - $11,299 per month
CSU Classification Salary Range: $8,231 - $11,990 per month
Salary is commensurate with the background and experience of theindividual selected.
This position is eligible for a broad range of benefits, includingmedical, dental, vision, life and disability insurances, retirement(CalPERS), tuition waiver, vacation and sick leave. In addition, 15paid holidays are offered each year; 14 scheduled on specific daysand a Personal Holiday that may be taken any time during theyear.
