Indigo Beam Consulting in Houston is seeking an accomplished data and AI consultant to join our ground-floor AI and Data practice. You will work hands-on on data warehouse and reporting engagements, then grow into semantic model development with governance capabilities.
From day one you will partner with clients to translate reporting needs into governed data foundations, building scalable solutions using Fabric, Synapse, Power BI, and dbt, while mentoring teams on best practices.

Indigo Beam Consulting provides a common-sense approach to solving business problems through technology.
Born out of Bluware Inc. which has been in business for twenty-seven years, Indigo Beam was conceived as a full-service business consulting company that deeply cares about creating technology solutions that are in harmony with the environments in which they exist.
We believe that for a technology solution to be sustainable, it must be congruent with the business processes it serves, indigenously maintainable, and cognizant of the unique traits of the organization which it calls home.
This is a dual mandate role at the ground floor of our combined AI and Data practice.
From day one you will be hands on and billable on classic data work: reporting, dashboards and data warehouse engagements for mid-market clients. As our AI offerings expand, the same role grows into the technical half of our semantic delivery pair: building the semantic models, business ontologies and governed data foundations that make AI agents trustworthy, alongside a senior functional consultant who runs the business workshops.
You should want both halves. The reporting and warehouse work is not a holding pattern; it is where client trust and the follow-on AI work come from.
You join at the start of a practice, not the middle of one. The path from this seat is toward the lead semantic architect role as the AI offerings scale, with direct influence on how the offerings, accelerators and standards get built. Small senior teams, no delivery pyramid, and clients who deal with the person doing the work.
