Job summary

Merkle Inc. is seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead modernization initiatives for enterprise customers migrating legacy Adobe solutions to modern platforms across Analytics, Content, and Commerce.

You will design end-to-end data foundations, implement data models, pipelines, and governance, and collaborate with Adobe teams to deliver unified profiles and real-time activation for digital marketing, content, and commerce ecosystems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on data architecture, data modeling, SQL development, and analytics platform experience.
• Experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) data ingestion, schema design, unified profiles, and real-time activation.
• Ability to translate complex data configurations and models into clear business and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of data governance, privacy frameworks, and compliance (PII, PCI, HIPAA, GDPR).

Responsibilities

• Design data models across Analytics, Content, and Commerce domains.
• Develop data ingestion pipelines (ETL/ELT) and ensure data quality.
• Collaborate with customers and Adobe teams to map legacy to AEP schemas.
• Audit existing solutions to identify governance gaps and technical debt.
