Job summary

BlueCloud is seeking a Senior Data Architect/Snowflake Architect to lead the architecture, assessment, and modernization of enterprise Snowflake data platforms. You will define current-state and target-state architectures across ingestion, transformation, storage, and governance to support scalable analytics.

You will analyze Snowflake usage telemetry to establish baselines, design scalable data models and governance, and lead Cortex solutions while providing technical leadership to Agile

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data architecture or data engineering.
• 2-4 years of deep Snowflake architecture and implementation experience.
• Expert-level SQL and strong Python skills.
• Strong experience with dbt and orchestration tools like Airflow, Fivetran, or Kafka.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proven ability to lead client-facing discovery and modernization engagements.
• Strong understanding of data governance, security, and lineage.

• Familiarity with Terraform, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Experience with FinOps and cloud cost governance.
