Are you eager to begin a career that has a meaningful impact on the lives of Vermonters? The Green Mountain Care Board (GMCB), Vermont's independent health care regulatory agency, is seeking a Data and Reporting Coordinator to help advance our mission of reducing health care costs and improving access and quality of care for all residents.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to expand your knowledge of the healthcare domain by working with data systems that inform decision‑making about Vermont's healthcare system. You will be encouraged to learn and develop your skills, with support available whenever you have questions. Our team is committed to helping you grow your career in healthcare data.

This position is perfect for a motivated data professional who excels in analytical environments, can work both independently and collaboratively, and handles ambiguity with confidence. If you value public service and are driven to shape sustainable health system reform through principled, evidence‑based regulation and oversight, this role is for you.

Who May Apply

This position, Data and Reporting Coordinator (Job Requisition #55178), is open to all State employees and external applicants.
If you would like more information about this position, please contact James Nadeau at james.nadeau@vermont.gov .
Please note that multiple positions in the same work location may be filled from this job posting.

Duties are performed largely in a standard office setting, but private means of transportation should be available for required travel outside the office. The role involves intensive interaction with department officials who may advocate strongly for their programs. Required recommendations may be difficult because of competing interests and limited resources. Rapid response in the face of tight deadlines may be necessary, requiring some evening and weekend duty.

Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree in business or public administration, statistics, or information technology field.

OR

Bachelor's degree business or public administration, statistics, or information technology field AND one (1) year or more of data administration, business analysis, statistics, or design work.

OR

Four (4) years or more of data administration, business analysis, statistics, or design work.
