Job summary

AlleyCorp is seeking a Data and BI Manager to lead our reporting and analytics initiatives from our Cincinnati office. You will oversee the design, development, and ongoing optimization of our data warehouse, dashboards, and reports, ensuring accuracy and performance across teams.

You should bring advanced SQL skills, experience with BI concepts, and leadership in data projects. This role offers growth in a fast-paced eCommerce environment with strong benefits and on-site work in Over-the-Rhine.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a data-related field or equivalent.
• Strong SQL skills and data querying experience.
• Experience with data programming languages (R, Python) and APIs.
• Mastery of BI concepts and ability to translate to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience leading applications and projects in data environments.
• Experience with BigQuery and Snowflake is a plus.

Responsibilities

Your daily tasks will include

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise all activities related to the design development, and implementation of organizational reporting and analytics
• Maintain, support, and upgrade reports, dashboards, and data warehouse
• Apply proven communication skills, problem solving skills, and knowledge of best practices to guide the team on issues related to the deployment of information and reports
• Managing data warehouse and reporting infrastructure to help scale reporting needs while maintaining high-performance environment for reporting
• Audit to ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Protect the organization’s value by keeping information confidential.

Your qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in some sort of Data type field
• Advanced understanding of SQL (fluent in SQL)
• Understanding of data programming languages (R, Python, etc.) and APIs
• A mastery of Business Intelligence concepts and the ability to articulate these concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience of successful and effective application systems leadership and project management
• Experience with the usage of BigQuery and Snowflake data warehouses is a plus
