Job summary

Capital Group is seeking a Data Product Specialist in Charlotte to partner with business and technology teams to define and deliver data products, analytics, and reporting that improve decision-making and business outcomes.

You will drive end-to-end data product lifecycle practices, collaborate with data domain owners, and translate requirements into actionable insights. The role emphasizes leadership, mentorship, and applying AI-ready solutions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Define and drive a dataproduct vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned to business priorities, value, and feasibility.
• Lead end-to-end data product lifecycle practices (intake, discovery, prioritization, delivery, adoption, measurement, retirement).
• Partner with data domain owners and stewards to assess current-state maturity and close gaps.
• Build partnerships with business units to translate decision needs into data and insight requirements.
• Guide teams to collect, analyze, and interpret data to produce evidence-based recommendations.
• Coach others in communicating complex findings through clear narratives and visualizations for stakeholders.
• Lead data and business process analysis to solve complex problems across stakeholders and capabilities.
• Oversee the design, build, and maintenance of analytics and reporting solutions for scalable, trusted insights.
• Stay current on emerging technologies and apply to improve standards and delivery.
• Champion data strategy and literacy by creating roadmaps, driving adoption and training, tracking success metrics.
• Lead and develop talent by mentoring, performance management, and supporting hiring.

Charlotte Base Salary Range: $153,842-$246,147Southern California Base Salary Range: $179,273-$286,837

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
