Job summary

Bates White is seeking high-potential undergraduates for the 2027 Summer Consultant Program in Washington, DC. Over 10 weeks, Summer Consultants receive intensive training and contribute to data-driven analyses for clients.

You will analyze data using Stata, R, Python, SQL, and Excel; conduct industry research; prepare reports and presentations; and join a collaborative team with mentors and senior economists.

Qualifications

• Are pursuing an undergraduate degree (required).
• Will graduate between December 2027 and spring 2028.
• Experience with Stata, R, or a similar programming language is helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large quantities of data using Stata, R, Python, SQL, and Excel.
• Conduct industry research, review legal documents, and synthesize relevant information.
• Communicate results through data visualization, reports, and presentations.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues at all levels and backgrounds, from Consultants to PhD Economists and Partners.
