Job summary

M&T Bank is seeking a Data Analyst on the Domain Analytics Team in a hybrid role. The analyst will partner with Digital Product and Technology teams to deliver data products, insights, and scalable reporting solutions that support the full product lifecycle.

The role involves exploring data, building dashboards, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring data quality while adhering to risk and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years related experience, or 7 years combined education/work experience with 3 years related experience.
• Intermediate SQL; experience querying large databases (SQL Server, Snowflake).
• Experience with Business Intelligence/Visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau).

Responsibilities

• Explore, mine, and profile data across multiple datasets to gain insights for dashboards and ad-hoc analytics.
• Design and validate reporting, dashboards, and tracking solutions for migrations to new platforms/data sources.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate business questions into analytical solutions.
• Ensure data quality and proper documentation for analytics projects.
• Develop BI solutions to meet business needs.
